Monitoring inspection
Monitoring inspection by AEPD targets pipes and pressure valves of petrochemical and electric power plant to moniter and measure corrosion and cracks. Its feature includes,
1. No need to stop the plant during inspection or measurement.
2. No need to assemble scaffolding or remove heat insulating agent during measurement.
3. Remote measurement is possible by extending cable, thus the workers can perform their job following safety regulations.
By comparing the output potential difference with UT value, the wall's thickness and crack growth can be assessed.
